Commitment To The Environment

At UNIVERSAL, we’re not only committed to helping you to improve your Spanish — we’re committed to our planet as well.

When you’re here in Mexico, you can be an active participant in helping to keep Cuernavaca clean.

We have a small recycling center at our school and we also have a compost pile. Our compost is used as fertilizer for all of the plants and flowers on our campus. If you’d like a little hands-on work, feel free to help out!

You can also participate in ecological day trips that we offer to environmental centers that specialize in the production and installation of dry toilets, keeping pollution and litter out of the ravines in Cuernavaca and water treatment for schools.

Better yet — you can work as a volunteer for any of these organizations.
